I work for City of South Haven and am a non-exempt part-time employee and am a member of our local TPOAM union. I am also a worker with a disability, that they were made fully aware of when they hired me. They are not complying with the disability laws, fmla laws and the fact that I have a disability and work there. I’m not sure if I need to apply for a grievance or not. I’ve contacted a local newspaper to tell them the story and have the American Disabilities Network helping me. I want to cover myself in every way, though, as I’m done having contact with them.
